The worst part, for me, is we drafted Zary… same friggen team in junior; unfortunately Stankoven had a tough draft year only playing in 7 games. Truly unfortunate seeing the hind sight early on for this one.

Reinhart just scored his 41st on an absolute snipe over the goalie's shoulder from the goal line while short handed to tie the game late in the 3rd.
What an absolutely ridiculous season he's having. It's just a treat to watch.

Anton Lundell finishes off the win with a shootout move that completely undressed the Canadiens goalie. Panthers win again, and they really didn't play their best game tonight either.

I don't understand the continued motivation behind this and the Kane narrative.
A lot more teams than just the Flames chose busts or tweeners over Stankoven, don't know why so hung up on the strongren pick specifically.
This point can be made about every team when a good nhler is picked after the first round but passed on by them. Such is the nature of the draft. Sometimes your list is wrong..
The hand wringing after the fact is odd.
