Just another 4 goals given up by the new defense first Oilers. You love to see it.

It's always funny how when the Oilers predictably resort to putting McDavid and Draisaitl together later in a game, the commentators act like it is some kind of coaching genius.

Oilers lose and Sportsnet is going to do a half hour post game show on it. I think they are going to interview every player and coach for the Oilers, probably the trainers too.

Food for thought: the Oilers last 3 years have been the worst statistical 3 year span in NHL history.

Don’t forget they have to ask the Wild players what it’s like to play against McDavid. A kid could score his first NHL goal and their first question would be… “How did it feel to have McDavid there to see your first NHL goal?”

The Oilers radio crew sure sounded depressed with the loss.
The Blackhawks made it interesting as Connor's overtime winning goal was definitely anti-climactic. Morrissey gets his third assist of the game too on the winner.

Gotta say, all 4 Jets-Bhawks games this season were good ones. Just 1 game was a 2 goal victory, the others were decided by a goal and two of them in OT. Friday's game was evenly matched and had both goalies being excellent in net as the Jets win the season series 3-0-1. Each team won a game in OT.
Bummer for the BJs as they lost to the Sabres. Tarasov made 35 saves in the loss and the BJs were perfect on the PK at 4/4.
Lol at the Oilers. Gustavsson was awesome in the Wild net as he stopped 41 shots. Pickard only faced 19 shots in the Oilers net. The Wild's special teams were not good. The PP was 0/4 and the PK was 0/2, but, that didn't matter.
