They're using Power BI. Being students, probably the desktop version, queuing and serving 1 request at a time that it's licensed for lol.

The "Playoff Picture" tab might be interesting.... if it had any basis whatsoever. According to their calculations, virtually every series is a coin flip - with Calgary over Colorado having the highest odds at 51.8% chance of Calgary win (Tampa, according to their site, only has a 50.8% chance of beating Carolina). Are the playoffs really that random? I don't see any explanation as to how they calculate these odds... also there seems to be some math errors as if you add up the "series win odds in N games" it doesn't add up to the total :P
