Hard to believe these two teams were in the ALCS three seasons ago and that the Royals somehow won a World Series, which is still a sickening thought.
Buck and Pat mentioned that Mike Moustakas has the Royals team record for most Home Runs in a season which is 38, which is probably one of the most depressing/Royals-ish statistics I have ever heard; especially for a team that has been around since 1969.
One thing remains the same, I still despise the Royals, Kauffman Stadium, Alcides Escobar and Ned Yost.

And the Jays got robbed in Game 6 by the neckbeard kid who reached over to grant the Royals the solo HR (they won the game by that single run),and the home plate ump who suddenly and blatantly changed the strike zone for Navarrao,Revere especially, and Donaldson, when the Jays were threatening in the 9th with 2 risp and none out.

Looks like it's going to be a long night with this ump and his terrible strike zone.

lol this is ridiculous.
Stroman should have been out of this inning 3 up 3 down.
Now he's given up 2 runs and it's still going.
...and if anybody says anything to the ump he starts peacocking and challenging you.
Just ####ing brutal. No accountability.

What does that have to do with this ump, his belligerent attitude, and terribly inconsistent strike zone?
Must be nice to be terrible at your job, and when someone calls you on it you can just get combative with them, escalate the confrontation, and then toss them out.

Its a pretty awful strike zone. Pitches off the plate for yankee pitcher have been called a strike. Edge of the plate the other way is a ball. Needs to be awful both ways.

Reid-Foley looks overwhelmed today.
The requisite error from Travis extending innings doesn't help things either, neither does Jansen throwing a ball to Pillar instead of Travis.
EDIT: I guess I shouldn't complain, I wanted to see the kids play and these are the growing pains!

Borucki is getting absolutely torched by the Yankees.
6 runs given up in the 1st and not one out yet.

You have to like what the young guys are showing.
Borucki looks like a young Buerhle out there, solid velo especially from a left hander, he is able to spot his fastball most nights, and he looks like has pretty good poise out there for a young guy.
Danny Jansen looks like he has a good idea at the plate, and he looks pretty comfortable behind the plate. I think he just needs to learn to eat the ball when he has no play, but that is just a rookie trying to do too much and that's going to happen.
Sean Reid-Foley looks like he has the tools he just needs to learn how to use them. I was expecting a bit more velo from him. It's good that he got a taste of the big leagues, now he just needs to work on his craft a bit.
Billy McKinney looks like an alright outfielder, he seems like a 4th outfielder/platoon type of guy. He has made a few baserunning mistakes, but I think that comes from a young guy trying to do too much and get noticed.
I am curious to see Thomas Pannone make a few starts, he looked pretty good out of the bullpen. He looked like the type of guy who could have a long career as a lefty specialist. Good breaking ball.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. looks like a really good athlete, not sure what his ultimate position will be, but he could end up being like a Ben Zobrist type of player.

As @tberry3 pointed out yesterday, the Steamer projection system on @fangraphs sees Vladimir Guerrero Jr. as a top-20 hitter in MLB right now
He's tied with Francisco Lindor, just ahead of Jose Altuve & Manny Machado with a projected 131 wRC+ #BlueJays

Credit where it's due. Morales has been an absolute beast at the plate the last 3 months.

Also, that was an impressive first ever MLB start for Pannone, even if it was against the lowly #### birds.

Hey man, don't refer to the Orioles as #### birds... that's an insult to #### birds everywhere.

Gonna be interesting to see what becomes of Teo. His defense is terrible, and his bat isn't good enough to be a DH unless he makes some adjustments.
Grichuk and McKinney running around out there making incredible plays, and then there is Teo flubbing routine ones.

McKinney smashes his 2nd bomb as a Jay.
Could be a nice pick up, looks good so far. Decent speed and defense, definitely some pop in his bat. Bonus that he's a LHB.
