Also didn't see these posted - also on icethetics:

Have to lose the stripes on the pants though - too busy. Some good elements though. I'd like to see a more classic design with the hem stripe, but keeping the wide arm stripes with the numbers in them - kinda cool.

I really, really, really, really want to see that used as our primary logo. It's the best logo the Flames have had ainec. It's sublime.

I've been trying to find some fan gear that uses this logo but I haven't been able to...

As the primary? Like, replace the C?!

It's a decent logo, but it's a play on the Colorado Rockies logo and is completely unoriginal.

The Flaming C is simple and iconic.

I would enjoy it for a third jersey... but primary? Let's not get crazy here.

Look, I would be perfectly happy to use it as a primary logo on our third jersey. I realize that it's not realistic to hope for it to take over the role of the flaming C. I just think it's a really well-designed logo that certainly has a place amongst the better crests in use in the NHL. It deserves a better fate than being relegated to the shoulders of our thirds. The current wordmarked-C "primary third jersey" logo is both unattractive and unoriginal and needs to go either way.

I disagree completely, it's not nearly as similar to the Rockies logo as you're implying, and as far as circular crest logos go, it's one of the most beautiful and clean designs I've seen. Significantly better than the Wild, Blues, Pens, Panthers and Lightning attempts at making something similar. It manages to use the team colors to combine a representation of the unique geography of Alberta with the team initials and a "Flames" wordmark without looking cluttered or overdesigned. The different elements blend together seamlessly.

That logo is perfect for shoulder patches, and I really hope it transitions to that space on the next generation of sweaters.

Yeah agreed. Love the logo as a shoulder patch, and it should be so on all mains going forward. It would probably be OK as a third, but I'd rather see something more simple for a main crest.

The Flames should do a Halloween night Special Edition jersey with skulls and Flames all over. So it basically looks like Kippers old lid on a jersey.

I would buy that.

Love these. I really want them to go to a new design with the retro colours.

Agreed. It would be a huge improvement, particularly for the road whites. It's something that just has to happen with the upcoming Adidas re-designs.
