It also just could be camera angle. Look at the brick line - it is at Parson's eye, and at the top of Marner's forehead.
Impossible to tell from a single from a pic.

Parsons is listed at 6'1'', but there's absolutely no way that's true. Here he is beside former teammate Mitch Marner:

Mitchell Marner is listed at 6'0". I don't see from this picture how there is "absolutely no way" that Parsons is in fact 6'1" tall.

You can tell when a person is 6'1'' and standing next to a person who is notorious for being of small stature. Yes, it's possible Marner has heels on.

Dude. Mitch Marner is listed @ 6'0". We are talking about construing a single inch of difference from a photograph.

I don't care how tall Parsons is because it's not going to change anything now. Nothing can be taken from that picture either.
I will say though that Marner measured 5'11 at the combine. Could he have grown an inch after that? Absolutely. I doubt it though.

He turns 22 in spring so I doubt he’s grown taller since the article was written. Sounds like you’re taking his “listed” height as gospel.

Cam Atkinson is listed as 5’8”. Gaudreau, Paul Byron and Jonathan Marchesault are 5’9”. Clayton Keller and Braydon Point are 5’10”. Why would anyone feel it necessary to embellish Marner’s height by a single inch in a league with more than a few smaller players?
I don’t take the listed heights as “gospel,” but neither do I see any reason to doubt that Mariner is in fact 6’0” tall, and Parsons is indeed 6’1”.

So case closed - unless some people think the league would fudge the stats of some random players.

Well I guess other than Marner’s teammates laugh when he says he’s six feet tall. That was really the only point of referencing the article, lending some credence to the earlier posts that he’s probably not that tall.

But how do we know you're telling the truth and haven't been paid off by Mitch Marner?
