He was supposed to be at the Montreal series this year too, but couldn't make it due to his illness. Such a shame the fans couldn't give him that final ovation.
Not only was he a fine baseball player, but a great character as well. Loved watching the Expos from Jarry Park and then Olympic Stadium growing up as a kid.
