If Rittich plays well tonight do you play him again on Sunday? Gives Smith an extended break heading into their BYE

I like this idea. Its not the worst thing to give Smith more of a break, and the team seems to play more focused and a little tighter in front of Rittich. Given that this is an afternoon game before the break, they may need a little focus.

6 days now, plus the all star break is plenty. He doesn’t need the extra two days.

Naaa as much as Rittich has been good, Smith is our starting goalie and we are not in the position in the standings to be giving our starter extra rest, especially with how good Smith has been on the road

No. He will have a two-day break between games, which is perfectly manageable, and then with the Bye-week four starts in 11 days over a two week period. Playing Rittich in Carolina would be virtually negligible.

In the pregame meeting I hope they talk about not taking this game lightly, as nice as beating the top team in the NHL 5-1 they have been in a playoff spot less then 24 hrs and their sights should be set on the top of the division.

Go Flames!

It's funny how greedy we are as fans.

The standings look SO MUCH better now than they did two weeks ago. And yet I think to myself, "Just one more W. Just onnnnnnnnne more. Please!"

And then on Sunday I'll want another. So damn greedy! Even the Snek only wants 1.17073 points per game or something like that! LOL!

Realistically, if you look at a 3 game in 4 days stretch, on the road, and factoring in Tampa, you would probably be pretty happy with 3 points, and ecstatic with 4.

We have 2 already, getting the W tonight would be huge.

Your expectation when the team trades away its 1st and 2nd round pick should be 98-0-0

I love watching Calgary's third line of Bennett-Jankowski-Hathaway and the mismatch it produces against the other teams lower lines.

Making it six straight would be outstanding. Hope the team can pull it through. Ride that red hot flame.

Just for asking, I hope Ekblad mysteriously blows a tire every time Johnny swoops down his side of the ice.
