The casinos and the bookies will have records of what he bet on, how much, and when, and he owes them tens of millions of dollars. I doubt they would do him any favours by covering up those tracks. Frankly, at this point I doubt they would piss on him if he were on fire.

I wonder how the league carries out such investigations effectively.
I’m guessing they’ll 3rd Party the entire file to an experienced and licensed Investigation Company that specializes in these sorts of matters. Typically these “Agencies” will employ a battery of Legal beagles, retired or Ex Police/FBI Agents, amoungst others who are experienced in complex Investigations.

Actually I think it is the opposite, especially if he owes them money.

Kane getting a lifetime ban from the NHL will pretty much end any chance of those who he owes money to getting anything back. He is still owed $28 million in NHL salary plus whatever he might get in his next contract(s) if he is cleared.

It is in their best interest that Kane continues to play in the NHL.

I don't see how it is in their best interest to cooperate with a NHL investigation.
Not to mention it’ll hurt their business with other athlete gamblers, of which there have historically been many.

It depends, then, on whether they think they have any chance of getting their money back to begin with. I'm guessing they may have moved on from ‘Let's try to get our money back’ to ‘Let's make an example of this clown to show what we do to welshers.’

It also depends on whether they think they can afford to ignore subpoenas or provide false evidence to the courts.

Casinos and sports books will help the league over Kane. The data the NHL can provide so they make proper lines and real time betting work is worth more to them than whatever Kane bet.

Obviously a different story if he's betting through less official means.

It may be not so much that he’s betting via organized crime, but maybe improperly using proxies to place his bets with legit venues.

Definitely need to wait and see. I think everyone has seen enough nasty break-ups to know some people will do or say anything to stick it to their ex.

I'm sure somewhere out there, there's a bookie that Kane hasn't paid back yet who might be willing to share some info.

Anyone who thinks A Casino is going to risk their gaming license to cover up any bets by Kane is out of their mind

They are way to busy covering up Asian money laundering ! This isn’t even a blip on their radars . They will hand him over in a second if he bet on his games

Maybe I'm the minority here but I have a hard time believing Kane would bet on Sharks games or even hockey for that matter.

Wasn't it reported by many fans in Winnipeg that most restaurants, bars, and other businesses had a "don't serve Evander Kane" rule as he skipped out on almost every bill? What an amazing deadbeat. I read that the team had to cover his bills/tab on many occasions before they finally got rid of him.

As a kid of one of the nastiest divorces I've experienced this is my take. During my parents divorce when I went to speech therapy because I legitimately needed it and my mom said my dad beat her and me so bad that I was talking then stopped because of it. That's not how I remember it . I remember being in a rcmp office and having to tell the police that's what happened because if I did I would get every thing I was promised . P.s. I didn't get anything I was promised .I didn't get that trip to Disneyland , I didn't get a new bike, I didn't get that new motorized jeep ride in toy. I actually got a new home ... with my dad. 20nyeqra later I understand why .My mother had trained me to say I was beaten and hospitalized even tho there was no proof as it turns out.

I've seen one close friend go thru something similar where the mother claimed he threw his children in the dryer as punishment and left them there for the whole cycle. Again found untrue and I had to go to court myself to prove this was
Untrue. Be was an exceptional dad.

All I'm saying is it HIGHLY unlikely the his creditors are going g to be awarded so much he can't provided a more than average upbringing for his children based 9n meat he makes.

It's not helping anything for her she is going thru social media and not a lawyer

In this particular case I'm not saying one or yhe other is at lqm8ng greater fault but devoirces can be uglier then you can imagine. I've seen mothers and father claim rape and exploration and no matter the side friends sided with seemed it was offside to any party to be claiming . I have legitimately seen both sides claim rape of a child fro. Significant other in the same hearing. Sometimes both sides just want to go for the kill and let the courts rule.

I very much doubt the league has any way to request any of the information, even if a casino wanted to hand it over these are financial records of a third party who has every right to privacy

Every right to privacy untill the government starts knocking. The nhl is a major contributior to any state its in . You start treating higher taxes or Rico act I this case owners start talking.

No honor amongst theifs and that's what legal gambling ING is.

Basically you give me the info I need about just this specific case or we start deep diving into everything else . You give us what we want and your other records go untouched . We even forget that taxes you owed last year for this one case.

Politicians are bought cheaply . Corporations even cheaper

Remember when the USA Last past laws that gratented 1 trillion in breaks to corporations in I believe 2017 it only cost 130 000 in donations to get it done. That's reality

Edit: I was right it was 2017 for a yearb on what it saved . 1 trillion went back to cooperation and companies not 3billion

You know what's a bigger contributor than the NHL in every state? Gambling.

Sports betting just became legal in a bunch of places in the US. They aren't going to risk being seen as hindering investigations into potential game fixing and risk that status.

I’d imagine with Kane being in such debt to the bookies that he’s likely not betting the “legal” way.
