Anyone tried Without Papers in Inglewood?
Thinking of ordering there later.

It's delicious! There has to be a way to make it right? It's like $15 a bottle at Noble Pizza

It's a good thin Italian style. So, if you like that, give it a shot! Thin crust Italian is my favorite, but I know many people prefer a thicker crust.

Melt honey, add hot sauce for a basic one

I mean I like the honey (and other hot pepper oils) but I feel if you need to mask the taste you should just buy better pizza. The odd piece its not bad though.

Bridgeland market sells it cheaper than noble. But it’s not always there

I like this ranking. But where would you fit Posto Pizza? It’s probably still my favourite in Calgary

A follow up to Without Papers in Inglewood. Taste was good, didn't blow me away but it was decent. Thin is an understatement. The crust is pretty much paper thin and the toppings aren't much higher. The whole thing is maybe 1/4" tall and that is being generous. Toppings are single layer and the meat is cut super thin. Pizza only comes in one size and it's $22 so can't really expect the world but I mowed through 1/2 of it and could easily have had another piece. If you're ordering for 2 people then 1 pie may not be enough, definitely not 3 people. Overall don't regret ordering there but probably wouldn't again, I'd rather have paid $5 more and got a bit more in the box.

Anyone tried Western Pizza? There’s one supposedly opening up in Varsity. I’m curious if it’s worth a shot when it does open it’s doors.

It was alright. I wouldn’t think of adding it to any kind of regular pizza night rotation, but wouldn’t refuse it if offered.

This is tough because the pizzas listed roughly fall into the New York style category, whereas I’d place Posto in the upscale/high concept group alongside places like Una. If I were forced to make a choice I’d maybe still put Posto on top, but the margin would be very thin against the best NY pizzas.
Speaking of modern style pies, looks like the former chef from Tavernetta (R.I.P.) opened up on the west side and took over an old pub space:

Might aim for this one on the weekend, and hopefully Bravo not too long after. I’m liking this end of the city more and more every week.

That's great news! Tavernatta was my favorite restaurant and I was supremely disappointed when they closed.

Twice, both times were underwhelming to be honest.
I found the pizza dry, which is odd, but that was my take.
I didn't enjoy and haven't been back since last summer.

Below connie and above pizza face. Their mushroom was my favorite but I ate it too much!

If you have friends in the USA, get them to send some up to you. I got a 6 pack down there last year for 40 buck and when I told customs, they just laughed.

How does eating it too much justify third?

FYI, they opened up a location in Okotoks now. So it's closer to home.

I hear its under new management, but Heritage/Elbow used to make just about the perfect pepperoni pizza.
