Default Speech by Sacha Baron Cohen to Anti Defamation League

https://www.thedailybeast.com/sacha-...g-and-facebook

Calling Facebook “the greatest propaganda machine in history”.

I thought the speech was excellent and agree with his viewpoint. It’s 25 minutes long, very much worth taking the time to listen.

I've always known he was highly intelligent, but that was a pretty impressive speech. I'm not going to say I 100% agreed with every single statement, but the vast majority of that was thoughtful, intelligent, and well said.

I've been a big SBC fan over the years, but he just went up significantly in my book.

Also, it's ironic that the speech is posted on youtube, and he's railing against it.

I was surprised since I’ve never cared for him.

As a comedian he is fearless to an extent I don't think anyone has ever been before, there have always been comedians that use the audience's discomfort to force a response, we laugh out of nervousness essentially, but he is so utterly committed to his comedy in a way no one has really tried before, Lenny Bruce was similar in the sense he was confrontational with his audience but stand up is safer in a way.
