It's an old and slow team. I expect the Kings will be amongst the groups of teams lobbying heavily for another round of compliance buyouts at the next CBA as they have 8 players over 30 year old players locked in through the 2020-21 season.

If the Flames play the way they capable of playing then there is literally nothing the Kings can do to stop them. It doesn’t really matter what kind of extra energy they get from the coaching change.

When they play a solid 60 minute game the Flames are absolutely one of the best teams in the league.

They just need to worry about executing their own game plan. The Flames don’t need to worry about the other team strategy or what the hell is going on with them.
