I played the crap out of NV, and I love Obsidians work. KotOR 2 was fantastic except for the ending. NN2 was great. Stick of Truth. A few friends play PoE and are addicts. The only game I’ve sunk more hours into than F:NV is KotOR 1 and WoW. I’m so excited.

KotOR 1 is unequivocally my favourite game. Played it on Xbox. Played it on PC. Still play it on my phone. I remember the first time I reached the twist and I had to turn off my TV and walk away for a few hours. I was left reeling.

I highly recommend it. It’s aged incredibly well, considering it’s 15 years old. It revolutionizes companions, has a great story arc, and a twist that was way ahead of its time.

I'm not a Star Wars fan and the only reason I got it was because I got it free with Doom 3 but I actually liked it and finished it. But boy was it buggy. I had to save every five minutes because it would crash alot.
I play a lot of Civ6, mostly because I'm a masochist. But that sounds like an exciting expansion for us! She mentions the diplomatic victory, that's not currently a victory condition so I'm guessing it will be a significant expansion in terms of mechanics as well.
The last expansion kind of screwed the domination victory as you can't really take over a lot of territory without your cities protesting and becoming free or rejoining their original civ (I know, it can be done, but it's become so tedious). The religious victory feels like a cheap shortcut win, especially on smaller maps. The science victory is the inevitable win if you are patient enough or at midgame have to abandon your original plan. The cultural victory is my favourite one, but things have to start out just right or you just can't achieve it.
Hopefully some new mechanics can make the other victory conditions more interesting.
