First official post from a long-time lurker... Hello friends!
I'm on nightshift right now, watching the game with my coworker from Buffalo. The swapping of him: "Yay!" and me: "Boo!" to the opposite when the goal was overturned was pretty rich. GFG!

Yeah, I'm not a conspiracy supporter but when Kelly Hrudey says it I have to think twice.
Conspiracy or not, hat 10 second sequence in the first game was the worst reffing I've seen in quite a while. It literally changed the entire flow of the game.

From reddit (I have no idea what a Zemgus is....nevermind it's a Buffalo player.)

Interesting, according to Zemgus during intermission the ref told them the rules have changed and they can "re-think it", thus the goal counting.

Flames were the better team out there in the first, it actually wasn't even close...some people need to get a grip

Agreed. They keep this up the whole game we're walking away with 2 points and the mood on CP should improve...

Unless Flames go 98-0-0 and beat each opponent by three, the mood on CP won't improve.
(Nor should it. Settle for nothing but perfection IMO).

It's an ugly style of play, but they carried the play, at least:

That was a very even period. Buffalo had the better chances but the Flames carried more of the play. I'm not sure if this team is even capable of covering the slot like the elite teams in the league can.

Sure he said it...but that still doesn't make it so unless he had an official tell him as much.
I have no doubt that the Wideman saga had him and perhaps the team, on a shorter leash than normal, that would be somewhat understandable. Thats long over now.
My point though is that fans of every team every where in every sport claim the same thing repeatedly. Its ridiculous.

Glad GlenX (*troll) is back around the rink. He was a good Flame, no hard feelings, too bad it didn't work out for him.
