Surface Pro 4 or Surface Book with a slow WiFi connection? Here is a simple fix

This is a pretty incredible fix and difference maker. I went from 40 megabits per second to a full 179~. I've always wanted to pull my hair out and then googled it finally, and , it was an instant difference and fix. I didn't want this to get buried in a tech thread as I think it's important enough to warrant it's own thread.

I just did this and on the internet speed test, went from 20 Mbps to 170 like you did. That's amazing.

I wonder why it was throttled back in the first place.

Wonder if the original reason it was set that way was to extend battery life.
