Default Lack of Triple AAA RECHARGEABLE Batteries in Dollar Stores

Is it just me or is there a severe shortage of Triple AAA Rechargeable Batteries at the Dollar Stores. I bought some YEARS ago and they finally died on me...Yes, the SUNBEAM kind. I haven't for the life of me been able to see these anywhere. I liked'em cuz they were cheap and obviously lasted quite a while. Has anyone seen these on sale anywhere at a Dollar Store? I'm beginning to wonder if it's a conspiracy to get you to buy the Regular Triple AAAs instead. And nothing uses Double AA anymore.

There are lots of things that use Triple AAA batteries. Heck even on my desk right now I have a wireless mouse and keyboard along with wireless headphones and they all use Triple AAAs.

Saw some at Canadian Tire not to long ago actually. IIRC it was 20ish dollars for a 4 pack, which seemed expensive to me at the time.

^ That's part of the reason why I go to the Dollar stores...That's a ridiculous price for 4 Rechargeable Batteries.

It's not the batteries, it's rechargeables. Batteries are so cheap in bulk I've never seen the point in recharging them. Also "Triple AAA" made me do an ATM Machine take.

When my kids were heavily onto gaming (X-box, PS2 etc...) I invested in 4 sets of rechargable AA's for their controllers.

Its 6 - 7 years now and they are still going strong. I'm sure I saved 100 x what regular AA's would have cost in that time frame...

I purchased an appliance that requires 'D' batteries.

The Museum told me to try RadioShack. Its been a grim experience thus far.

Ah, the rare triple triple - I haven't seen a 27A battery since that one time in 1981 when I got a corded remote control car.

Plus the rechargeable batteries don't last long after a few charges. He probably thinks he would go through non-rechargeable batteries like mad considering he spends half his life recharging batteries, when in fact, a non-rechargeable battery will last 10x longer.
