well deserved. Things might have gone differently if not for Kramarics pathetic penalty miss in the first leg, but Liverpool were clearly the better side over 180 minutes. Hoffenheim a bit unlucky in the first leg, but outplayed today. Having to chase a Klopp team for 90 minutes is not a fun task.
That being said, that Liverpool team doesn't strike me with fear at all. Their defense is still shaky and always in the mood for a goal against or two ... up front they are really dependent on Mane (I still don't get why Barca prefer Coutinho ... Mane is the better footballer and would also be a better fit), although Salah is looking decent so far.

if anybody wants to simulate the draw for the group stage: https://draw.inker.fun/#/cl/gs
there could possibly be some killer groups ... something like Real-PSG-Liverpool-Leipzig for example. As always there'll also be a couple of "meh" groups.

I'm hoping for Spurs to get something like a group of death. I have no illusions about them winning the whole thing and just want to see them play against good teams and see how it goes. I think that they would really benefit from that, and might even get a better result than they would against some of the lesser clubs.

Just drew Juventus, Barcelona, Liverpool, Leipzig....yikes.
No real "meh" groups in my sim though so that would be positive.

I believe in the Jays.

Liverpool don't play a dull game, do they? 5 minutes in and both fullbacks are pushed up to the box looking for goals. Great result though, and well deserved.
At least this season we'll give CL a real go, unlike the last time we made the group stage.

If Leipzig get matched with any of the English or Italian teams in group 3 that's very likely just going to be a monster group

Dembele to Barca sounds like it's done, fee around £110 million.

So far both Bayern-PSG, Chelsea-Athletico, and Juventus - Barcelona look like the groups of death.
Teams will be looking to avoid those groups for sure.
If Napoli gets thrown in with Bayern & PSG then that will be the most entertaining group for sure.

Yup - has to be one of the following groups for Spurs and Liverpool.
Real-Dortmund
Juventus-Barcelona
Bayern-PSG
Monaco-Porto
Spartak-Sevilla
Have to be hoping for the last two at this point.
Edit: They both avoid Bayern-PSG with Anderlect going into that group. United get another lucky draw with Basel going from pot 3. Liverpool get lucky and go into the pot with Spartak-Sevilla.
