Hopefully Mattock's playing up front for Jamaica, if so Canada won't concede he couldn't score in a brothel.

The back 4 looked good in the first half, but its been sloppy in the second half. Borjan has saved our butts a few times.

The midfield isn't providing much protection. Any D will have a tough time when forwards are running at them with speed.

We've looked like a more attacking side then last time i watched us, so I guess leaving the D exposed is one of the negatives of that style of play. I'm ok with the trade off though.

Canada wins it's first game in 16 matches, almost 2 years. We haven't had a win since this thread was started. Damn that feels good.

If I'm watching with rose coloured glasses off, I think the win was a by-product of Jamaica terrible in their finishing, some fantastic goalkeeping by Borjan, and a lucky break on the 3rd goal.

Great performance by Borjan. Hopefully he'll get some work now. He's worthy of it. Fun game to watch overall!

Just finished watching on the PVR. Pretty good effort. Canada seemed more organized and energetic than what I have come to expect recently. Jamaica was quite poor, to be honest, but this is a good win and something to build on.

As a Norwich City supporter, I liked the energy that Loza brought to Jamaica in the second half. His finishing needs some work, but he did test Borjan a couple of times, to which he responded very well.

Lucky break on the 3rd, but Canada doesn't get lucky often. Take it!

Watching that game didn't make me too excited. A 2nd string Jamaica could have beat us easily if they finished some chances.

We're still bad in all areas. I'd like to see a lot more of the young guys in the starting lineup.

I'm surprised that they even accepted that friendly. I'm not sure that much good can come from this. But then again, is there anything to lose?

Interesting tidbit from the article : last time Canada played Colombia was in the 2000 Gold Cup Final, which Canada famously won. How far we've come in 14 years.

The Colombia match is tonight, and if you're not a subscriber to Sportsnet World, it will be streamed on Sportsnet.ca. 7:15 MT kickoff. There is the possibility to double-screen it with the Flames game on.

Not sure what to make of this one. A definite mismatch, but hopefully Canada can put in a good performance and aren't on their heels for the whole match.

Looking forward to seeing the youngsters. Perhaps Hanson Boakai will get a bit of playing time.
