I love how the kid mixes it up, but he needs to pick his spots better some times.

That's not going to end well.

I wish he would get 5 games for this. He needs to learn that his team needs him on the ice, he cannot go out and do stupid stuff like this.

Stupid play for sure, and he'll be suspended I suppose. On a different note I thought it was hilarious how he kept finding different ways to fall into Andersen.

This is for sure going to be 3-5 games.
I love everything he does, but I don't love this. Especially when he was already suspended for "spearing".

I don't think technically the Detroit suspension was for a spear. I think the nhl went with the engaging a player off the playing surface.

Both hearings are for unsportsmanlike conduct if I remember correctly. Expect the max.
It was a stupid play by Tkachuk, hopefully this time he learns his lesson.

What's it going to take for this kid to understand that the league has crosshairs on him and that stuff like this isn't going to go unnoticed? He needs to stop this selfish nonsense.

Honestly, I hope they give the idiot five games. It's clear the coaches can't teach him where the line is, so it's time the league does.
What a bloody selfish moron.

It seems odd, but it makes sense. Obviously, he hasn't learned anything from his one game suspensions. A bit harsher punishment might do him good.
Flames are a better team with him in the lineup, so anytime he gets himself suspended he is hurting the team. So, if a harsher punishment is what he needs to learn what he can/can't do, then so be it.

After the game I assumed it would be a fine, now I am wondering if he will get 2 or 3 games.....

Probably would have been two if he had been on the ice. Punishment goes up since it was from the bench. 5 games.

You can almost guarantee it.
They gave him one not even three weeks ago. There is zero chance the league does not escalate.

He needs to grow up a bit, I know he's young but he's immature. And this was told to me from someone within the organization.

You wouldn't say that to his face, would you?
