On one of my Facebook groups guy was saying he is doing some work with this group in Banff. Is supposedly a Renault/Nissan sales executive group with a whole fleet of vehicles in tow from France. They are booked to head back tomorrow Thursday around 5 something in the afternoon tomorrow.

The 340 is quite the plane.100 seat special seating etc. The are some pics of the inside online and this is definitely a first class charter plane. Big bucks for this to come here.

Yeah I saw that update on the YYC Spotter group as well. Pretty cool. Both planes are scheduled to depart for Paris (the A340 to CDG and the 747 to ORY) at 1715 today.

Here's a cabin shot of the A340:

I thought Swoop was getting all new planes? Are they just retrofitting existing WS planes?

They are retrofits of aircraft that Westjet was leasing and was supposed to return.

Canadian North operated a charter to Illinois last week with a 737-200, and they happened to be in at the same time as the Corsair mentioned above.

AA 1897 San Antonio-Phoenix diverted to El Paso yesterday due to hail damage. Front windscreens shattered and nose cone collapsed. Pretty nasty line of storms to get past.

That looks way better in real life than the images they released a few weeks ago. The tail in particular looks very good.

Placement of the Westjet wordmark is a shame...but since it's bigger and not stretched like the old version I guess they had to put it there.

I thought this was cool. 737 fuselages being transported by train in Washington.
