Not 9 goals per se but I've seen a lot of games where a goalie plays pretty well but there's lots of goals, just because of sheer dominance by the other team. I've also seen even more where it seems like the better team is getting beaten by a hot goalie, but eventually the dam breaks, and when it does, the score gets lopsided.

I'd imagine that in most 9 goal games, the team that scored a bunch had a lot of shots
