Default Don't trust the B in Apartment 23

It's on the second episode and I'm not a fan of it, yet. The only saving grace is James Van Der Beek who, surprisingly, is the best actor on this show as each and every other character annoyingly pecks our brain deliberately until Beek comes to the screen. Actually, he is quite refreshing; a bit of relief from the blunt force trauma given to us by the other jackhammers thrusting dialogue into our ears. After this exposure I hope he can surpass the obvious annoyance and type cast that seems to follow him from that show I never watched but still enjoy though gif.

The formula sounds just like The New Girl and 100 other sit-coms. Quirky girls moves in with wacky room-mates. [canned laughter]

My wife and I thought the first two episodes were hilarious... it's got a dry sarcastic type of humor at times which is right up our alley.

From the commercials the only thing that I can tell that is good about it is it has that hot girl that was Jesse's girlfriend in Breaking Bad who got killed off way too quickly. But everything else, yeah I think Troutman has it.

I may be alone here, but I think New Girl is hilarious. Some great writing with perfectly cast characters.
Schmit is great.

New Girl is fantastic. Zooey Deschanel is hot, the 3 dudes are hillarious (especially Schmidt who I hated at 1st) and the writing is top notch. Oh and the women are so hot in the show too.

New Girl is pretty funny. Schmidt is one of the great characters on TV right now.

The characters and the dialogue are forced. The only character able to show off a believable delivery of the dialogue is Van Der Beek. Mind you it usually takes a few episodes for the actors to really discover their part and create a good believable delivery.

I usually will give a show about 5 episodes before I choose to toss it or keep it.
