I was impressed by how the Lightning handled the Bruins but the Capitals took out the Stanley Cup champs and if Backstrom is healthy I think they can give the Lightning all they can handle. Still I will take Lightning in 7 games.

Pulling for Washington but I don’t mind Tampa Bay. I’m honestly surprised how many people still hold a grudge from 14 years ago.
Bolts in 5 but go Caps.

I wonder how surprised you would be by how many people are still paying for tickets because of 14 years ago.

I’m sure there’s lots, and I’m sure that run brought in a ton of new fans. I just don’t really have a hate on for Tampa Bay anymore.

Doesn't matter if it's 100 years from now, different staff, or hell if it's a different franchise altogether. Tampa hate must always live on.
Unspoilered because some people clearly need a reminder as to why we should never stop hating them!!

Yeah, I'm with you, I don't really understand why people can't get over it. I mean, sure, it was a tough series, but maintaining enmity for a team the Flames beat in six games almost fifteen years ago is a bit much, if you ask me.
Anyway, one Ovechcup, please. In the alternative, can you imagine if he finally made the SCF only to get beaten by an expansion team?
