Hamilton takes the poll. Lots of track records being broken. Vettel set it in Q2 before Hamilton broke it.

Not a good day for the other Mercedes though with Bottas crashing out.

Hello from turn 15.

Just over an hour away. Let's go Ricciardo!

I'm sure I'll get used to it but I much preferred the clean minimalistic look of the previous seasons.

That was a fun weekend! I'd definitely go again.

It was awesome seeing two of the best drivers ever go head to head. Hamilton was faster but Vettel got the luck. I also enjoyed Ricciardo's comeback to almost make the podium.

I'm a Ferrari fan but I wouldn't have minded Ricciardo making the podium. He's such a likable guy.

I like the in race stuff, but the intro and logo are about as awful as the halo.

I thought McLaren was supposed to be fighting for race wins with their new engine supplier?

Another 1 stop race. Who saw that coming?

I love everything about the new logo, graphics etc except the font. That sidebar is so hard to read. The larger simple block lettering was so much clearer. Not just the font but also the layout. For some reason they have dark on dark layering sometimes and it makes it incomprehensible.

The old logo reeked of the 1990s. I also like the F1 intro. The sky intro needs to go. That song is so incredibly lame. Especially when it is being compared to one of the best ever intros for any sport:

Just update those graphics a bit and good to go. To me, "the chain" is F1's official intro music.

This Bahrain race has been very entertaining so far. Terrible luck for Red Bull as both drivers are out. Hamilton made a triple pass and there's been a few other great moves.

Can Vettel hang on with this set of tires? Great race so far. Too bad about the Red Bulls.

Same. Great car mgmt by Vettel. And awesome race by Toro Rosso to finish Gasly in4th. Even Sauber and Ericsson.

My buddy is the Suspension Eng for Toro Rosso...he's gonna be stoked tonight.

just saw Kimi drive over the mechanics leg. That was Joe Theismann cringe-worthy

First 25 or 30 laps were boring AF.

Complete madness since the safety car.

Max is a moron. Danny Ric is a god. Ferrari with some karma for treating kimi like a 2nd rate driver whose sole purpose is to ruin his own strategy to make up for their bad strategy decisions with Seb.

Sky manages to show the race without taking ad breaks, why can't TSN?

Riccardo is the man. Love watching him race.

I know he's only 20, but Max Verstappen is an idiot. That's two races in a row he's driven like a dummy.

He was gonna get by Vettel regardless, being that aggressive is just reckless.

He would have been on the podium easily- maybe even 2nd.

Verstappen has always driven too aggressively. He has a tonne of talent but just can't control himself and his hot head. And I agree, Ferrari treats Raikkonen like crap.

But Riccardo is just a pleasure to watch. It's crazy how much better under braking he is compared to others. I know he had fresher tired today, but he's always had a magic touch.

It's amazing watching Ferrari continuously shooting themselves in the face. And foot.

Someone is going to die on this track if this GP continues- either F1 or F2...

It was looking like a good finish, but the inevitable happened.

Another crazy race in Baku.

Gonna need to see that replay of Max again but I’m not giving him the benefit of the doubt. My initial reaction is to agree with di resta and day he moved twice under braking.
