Compared to Madrid, Liverpool feels like a little club.

Cheering for them, despite Modric potentially adding to his legacy.

DAZN has secured exclusive rights to the Champions League and Europe League in Canada. As a cord cutter who already subscribes to DAZN for the NFL, I'm pretty happy with this news. That said, DAZN's NFL coverage was absolutely atrocious at times last year, so hopefully they have their act together by August.

Well I do like that I can watch matches back at night, there is no issues with their replays. It's the live stuff that's problematic, but I suspect it'll be better than Sunday Ticket. I really think their problem with Sunday Ticket is simply too many users at one time, and they can't handle the data usage.

If DAZN landed EPL I would for sure get a subscription now, that would be the pivot point for me. I wonder when the current sportsnet/tsn EPL deal is up.

Are exclusive streaming rights the same as broadcast rights? Basically, will the games still be on TSN next season too? Or is DAZN the only UEFA broadcaster in Canada now?

Good question. I know with the NFL they got exclusive access to all of the Sunday Ticket content but that TSN and CTV were still able to broadcast certain games.

Not that we should be surprised, but by all accounts everything is a disaster in Kiev. Airport simply cannot handle the volume of flights for an event like this. But obviously the right people got paid, and that's what matters.

Per this, it sounds like DAZN bought exclusive broadcast rights for UEFA.

Well that sucks. Now I have to go off and learn about this DAZN thing. Looks like another $20 a month to shell out on viewing stuff.

And what’s the deal with recording it? Easy or do you need some kind of work around?

I thought TSN had garbage coverage with games being constantly split with Beinsports or not even showed at all. I’d be willing to give this a try but now I have to pay for Bein Sports and this... kind of ####ty. So this is all online not on television?

I’m surprised TSN and SN didn’t pony up the cash for the rights.

It looks like you can just watch it later on demand as far as I can tell.

beIn is part of DAZN (in Canada anyway), so you can probably cancel it actually.

Doesn't look good for Salah. Brutal.

Liverpool by far the better team for 30 mins, then lose Salah. Guaranteed momentum change and upcoming and Madrid goal.
