It's actually kinda nice to see how solidly constructed that is. Sure, some of it came apart, but I imagine that it could be rebuilt without too much problems. Some of the smaller, easily replacable parts off the front may have been actually broken, but I'm not sure. Good to see that it's not an 'easy' thing to break, in case mine ever tips over and takes an unexpected flight.

I saw this set up in the window as I walked by the LEGO store in Chinook today. Looks to be about half the size of the Tumblr. It looked good, to be sure. But didn't have that "buy me now!" vibe.

I'll be getting the F40. It's a pretty cool design.

I hope everyone who wanted a Death Star got one because it's been retired. I bought one and I've never got around to building it. I might hold on to it as an investment and see if it appreciates like the UCS Falcon.

Those can be pretty pricey. I saw some star wars sets for $140 last night at Target. I think it was a star destroyer.

What's the best way to get some mini-figures? Don't need anything specific, just want to make a couple of skiers.

Go to the LEGO store in Chinook mall. They sell a lot of stuff piecemeal there. Could quite easily find an 'average' minifig or two.

Does anyone here have a permanent or semi-permanent lego village/town/city/landscape they have in their home?

I love legos as much as the next guy. But what does a grown man do with lego?

Yeah, the Lego Store definitely has that. If you are in the north part of the city, Brickz4Kidz is up in the NW in Capitol Hill.

Some people have deer antlers on their wall. Some folks hang their guns on the wall. Some folks put up pictures. Some folks hang swords. I've seen folks build shelves and put books up. I've heard of folks who build scale models of this and that and display them. Other folks build shelves and display LEGO...

I am sure everyone already knows about this site, but my bank account is profusely thanking me for not knowing about this site when I was single.

Sadly, they do not have skis available. Back to square one I guess.
