To be fair, those Reeboks fit big. I'm 6' 200lbs and I wear a small.

Good move. I've met him a few times. Good guy, big flames fan and from what I've seen on Global very professional and comfortable on camera.

Decent guy on the broadcast

The most disappointed person on global has to be Jayme Doll. Whenever she anchored and Brendan was covering sports, you usually see her talking to him with a huge lean towards him. Brendan, countering this, leaned away in discomfort

The wife didn’t believe it until I pointed it out lol

Sorry for getting off topic, am I the only one missing Kristin Hallett from Flames TV?

I like Jayme Doll!
Not sure why she always sounded stuffed up though.

Great. now we get more Lisa Mcgregor. She is possibly the worst sports news person on tv right now. She can never do highlights!

I would have thought going from broadcast television to basically internet only features would be at best a sideways move

I've been enjoying Alanna Nolan a lot. She has good presence and a nice pace to her interviewing. Hope she's not just a temp and she fills whatever void that Kristen Hallett seems to have left.

Hmmm...

I like Brendan. Does a pretty good job on Global and is pretty quick-witted with a great sense of humour. I wish him great success!

Never heard of him (don't watch cable), but he seems like a entertaining guy. Some videos (with the aforementioned Jayme Doll, of course):

I am just curious as to the workload of being a Flames TV personality. We basically have Ryan Leslie, Alanna Nolan, and now Brenden Parker doing player interviews and sorta recite some lines in front of a camera. Is it necessary to have 3 separate people doing basically a 1-person job?

Leslie is now the host of the Flames games on Sportsnet. I don't think he's done anything for Flames TV since they got back from China.

For the last few seasons, Leslie and Hallett have shared the hosting/interviewing duties on Flames TV, so there seems to be enough work for two of them.
