Matthews with his sixth goal, ninth point. Whichever poster arguing that Matthews wasn't going to get "Tavares money" a week ago, still willing to bet on that?

Matthews agent: Did I say 11? I meant 13.

As much as having Matthews and the Leafs shoved down our throat, it isn't nearly as bad as having the Oil and Mcwhatshiface shoved down our throat.
I'd love noting more than Matthews displace him as the so-called top player. I've long felt the gap between them was pretty small.

How do the Leafs not trade Nylander for defense right now? Such a potent offense and just trash defense.

Poor guy though, probably cheering on his team but everytime Matthews scores with Kapanen, he must realize he's losing his spot and negotiation chips.

Not watching that game but the Jets are outshooting the Kings by more than 3-1 ratio, 27-9.

It's ....I should preface this as I don't think the talent speaks to the comparissions but more to the players types.

It's Gretz vs Lemieux of this era. Matthews more the Lemieux and McDickcheez
is the speedy elusive Gretz. No, there's not a lot separating them. Save a cancer treatment.

Their bargaining power isn't at its highest. Who could they target at this time of the year?

Carolina has that kind of depth they'd want.
But I bet willy ends up out west.

Apparently Willy wants 8+, Carolina is way to cheap for that.

Leafs need Matthews and Tavares to score 6 a game to win. Last time it was Kane, this time Seguin is answering back. 5 point night for Seguin so far.

Nevermind, game summary just changed to a Tavares goal taking away Seguin for goalie interference....both 91 ha. Just four points for that scrub Seguin.

Hmm no Oilers again today. Hopefully they have been relegated from the league!

Marner, Reilly, Seguin each had four points in the Leafs-Stars game.

Labanc had four points in the Sharks game. Someone's having a four point night and not making the nightly three stars selection.
