Russia is gassed. They've used 2 players all week. Hope FAA can get in there to give Canada a boost.

Catching a break with no Medvedev for the Russkies - Kind of funny that Russia is using the same formula as Canada, it's been Rublev and Khachanov carrying the mail for Russia.

How can you put in Felix, when Vasek and Denis are red-hot?

In other Davis Cup action, Argentina is up 1-0 over Spain as Guido Pella defeated PCB. Rafa is currently on court facing Diego Schwartman and is leading in set 1. Great Britain won the opening singles match over Deutschland as Kyle Edmund took out Kohlschreiber in straight sets.

Evans and Nadal have won. So GB have advanced and Spain going to a decider.

Rafa spanked Schwartzman 6-1 6-2 - Call me crazy, but I'm hoping Argentina can eliminate Spain in the doubles decider.

Spain has changed their doubles team for the decisive match - It was Granollers and Lopez originally, now it is Granollers - Nadal

No I agree, I don't want to have to cheer against Nadal in the finals, plus he could use the rest

Vasek saves three set points (love-40 down) to stay in the first set. Rublev serving for the opening set at 5-4

Rublev wins the opening set 6-4 on the 6th set point. That opening game break was the difference as Vasek is playing well as is Rublev.

Uh oh, Rublev breaks to lead 2-1 in set 2. Vasek needs a band-aid to close a gash on his leg that happened late in the opening set.

Vasek breaks and we're back on serve at 3-3
Edit: Can't consolidate however as Rublev breaks right back.
