I think I’ve said this each of the last two years but I just don’t see any scenario where this isn’t a Calgary blowout. No weather issues from last year, no big retirement story like Burris two years ago. I think we see regular-season stamps show up and they win 48-7.

On the other hand, Stamps last two grey cups came in the year following a Riders Grey Cup (buncha copy cats) and the Riders didn’t win last year...

Need to look harder i think.

There are just no scenarios obvious that has this game being a blowout one way or the other. Calgary has played close games pretty much all year even when they were rolling as they haven't hit 30 pts in a game since September.

This, like almost every championship game does, will probably come down to defense and turnovers.

Honestly its a coin flip IMO, but Vegas has them at -4.5, so its likely a field goal game and the 2 best kickers in the league in the business are in this one.

28-26 Stamps.

After thinking I wouldn’t get my hopes up for a grey cup win after the last two years here we go again- nervous for this game . Speaking totally with my homer glasses on...stamps deserve this win more than OTT does. Three years into the finals with dominant regular season performances. Battling through injuries on top of that. Not that ‘deserves it’ means anything in one game either way. If there are football gods though.... Stamps just need to do their thing and not stray from what got us here.

The odds were decent for an Ottawa victory, so I put some money down on the game. Come on Redblacks, please win so I can have some extra dough.

Is this one of those hedge bets, if you lose the best, you're not that upset.

Hey all,

Can we get a Grey Cup game thread? It’s Championship Sunday!

P.S. Lots of Stamps fans up at Commonwealth; a lot of green as well (mostly Eskimos but some dirty Riders as well).

No it wasn't one of those. From my understanding the best result financially would have been a Redblacks victory. So I took that over hedge. I'm not too familiar with the hedge to be honest.

I can’t be the only one hoping this guy loses his money

Should’ve stuck with the more calculated risk by betting on the good guys

Oh well, you win some and lose some. It was just a small amount anyways

Stamps were a better choice, as I figured there was a small chance Ottawa would win. I'm neither a stamps or Redblacks fan, so I just bet based on the odds.

Sad to hear Jock Climie will no longer be on the panel, not that he was on there much anyways.

TSN saved the CFL and the panel was one of the main reasons. I would never watch anything pre game or at half time before. Randorf, Climie, Dunnigan and Schultz were great!
