What? Lombardi and Boyd were not 1st round picks.("Past 1st round picks" is a very strange way of saying "picked after the first round".)

Will John Armstrong be joining Quad City or Las Vegas when he comes off the injury list?

Negrin was 1st star as well tonight, RD........no surprise.

Mitch Wahl scored again, as did Riley Grantham. TJ Brodie was 2nd star and had 2 assists.

Decent start for Jordan Fulton -- a goal and a helper yesterday as the UMD Bulldogs continue their undefeated start to the season.

Nice to see 15 prospects drafted by Darrly Sutter now on the Quad City Flames roster, I see there is only another 15 prosects in the organization at the moment, does that seem a little low to anyone else?

Nemisz - Fulton - Severyn
Backlund - Marvin - Wahl
Grantham - Bouma - Larson

Negrin - Jonsson
Aulie - Deilert
Brodie

Spratt

No, there is a limit to the number of guys you can have under contract, and I think it's around 50, so that sounds about right.

Yeah, I was talking about the 15 mostly unsigned non-AHL/ECHL guys, seems like there were more juniors in year's prior.

Nemisz, Wahl, and Negrin are really tearing it up to start the season...nice to see.
