There's one team playing on the road tonight. So, you know who the Oilers will be playing at home tomorrow night...

Not sure where to put this, and maybe old news to some, but I just saw that Quick is out indefinitely for LA after knee surgery.
Story
Quote:
Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on a torn meniscus in his knee.
The Kings revealed Quick’s latest injury setback on Wednesday.
Quick has appeared in just four games this season for the Kings, going 0-3-1 with a 4.55 goals-against average. He missed five games with a lower body injury after appearing in Los Angeles’ season opener, but allowed 14 goals in three games after returning.

Goddammit Hawks, you had one job. Canucks now leapfrog the Flames and Sharks for 1st in the Pacific. Gross.

Vancouver’s start with all of their injuries is one of the biggest surprises of the season so far. That said, they could be 7th in the division within a week.

If they lose Stetcher for any period of time, they'll be short their top three defencemen. I don't see them leading the division for long.

They have a ton of injuries right now, it's crazy. I have to give them some credit, exceeding expectations by quite a lot. I don't expect it to last long, but they're getting production from a lot of depth players.
Kind of the anti-Oilers.

they weren't suppose to lead at anything this season.
the fact that an injury riddled rebuilding team who was suppose to be the worst in the league is leading the division says a lot about the teams in the pacific. not very good.
Stecher update from Green says he's fine, he was pulled for concussion protocol.

I said this before, but the Canucks of this year remind me of the 2014–15 Flames.
As for how good or poor the Pacific Division is, we will see. Someone I listened to on the radio today made a good point about the first 20 games in the NHL: it is ANYONE's for the taking. Because teams are so erratic to get started the smart money is always on the underdog in the first month or six weeks—there are just so many surprises.

Travis Green has them playing some good hockey. If they end up making the playoffs they could potentially have the Calder and Jack Adams winners.
