Why do all hockey bros talk and dress the same?

Pushing person in wheelchair down a flight of stairs = despicable, criminal behavior

Pushing empty wheelchair down a flight of stairs = stupid, reckless behavior

I'm glad it was only the latter, and not the former. What an idiot.

Those chairs are bloody expensive, I hope she gets a new one out of him.

“He didn’t rape or kill anybody so a slap on the wrist and let’s be on our way!”

I’m going to wager that’s a level of leniency only granted to young hockey players.

It’s still despicable and criminal. Not only is that someone’s only method of mobility, but it’s also illegal to damage other people’s property (and those are not inexpensive items). It’s worse than destroying someone’s car and about as bad as breaking someone’s legs.

Yes, but also not good enough. What's the lead time on a new chair? She's going to be pretty inconvenienced because of this. I hope his school punishes him. I hate when hockey bros get away with ####, especially hockey bros with famous dads.

Although it's not Danny's problem, he could win himself some community points by treating her to a VIP Flyers experience.

Wouldn't that be more punishment right now?

Totally. I instantly knew who the hockey guys were when they came into the shot. Backwards hat, joggers, group of 3-4 of them, smug looks.

As a wheelchair user, I can attest the chair is an extension of one's self. It's not too far off breaking someone's legs, and I think that's a fair analogy. As for punishment, he must use a wheelchair for a year and write about his experience.

I imagine for someone that uses a chair for mobility, something like this would feel more like an assault than just a property crime. Hopefully this kid learns some empathy.

I would assume it didn't even strike them that this wheelchair might belong to a disabled person.

JP "bro this empty wheel chair."
Carson "bro"
JP "this wheel chair is on this level"
Carson "but if we throw it down the stairs, it could be at this level"
JP "brooooo lol hilarious"
Carson: "broooo"

To make the jump from entitled, bro, doochbag to the malicious intent of purposely stranding a physically disabled person is a stretch that I'd be really hesitant to make at this time.

For first time in history, dudebro hockey player has learned empathy.

Yeah, we get it, just boys being boys so it’s all good. Caught it from you the first time.

I fail to see the difference between entitled and dangerously stupid.

Life must have been tough growing up because he had a rich hockey player dad is a new take...

Just imagine how much better off he would have been with a normal middle class upbringing, or even a poor upbringing..?
