I dunno the all caps YO and lack of correction by the OP leads me to believe they means something else. Wait
YO
OP
That’s the beginning Yoplait again. Maybe they meant YOP? That’s also a yoghurt drink. Yoop maybe? I think that’s something folks in the Midwest say like “yoop you’re correct I love yoplait.” Dammit is there anything dairy can’t do?
Fun fact, I am friends with the inventor of Yop!
Now, back to your bank collapse, while I coolstorybro it over here.

No joke, I bank with First Republic. Seeing their stock slide 60 points is more than just a little unnerving. We're protected, but it's terrifying to see such a panic in the banking system. It's the infrastructure for the entire economy. If people lose confidence in banks, and cryptocurrencies are fully in the tank, what's left?
I hope this is just a temporary blip and that sanity will return soon, but the panic is real.
It's almost like we learned nothing from 2008. Overleveraged and unable to cover debts. I don't blame people for not trusting bank companies.
Edit: oh I just read the thread and realized this is a joke for all of you. Kay then, I have a few choice cursewords for all of you.

I like the YO discussion. Are we to discuss what we think YO means? I think it means Yoplait. Their delicious sugar and dairy breakfast yoghurt will likely be the downfall of the entire western financial system. I believe peach is my favourite
Famed yogurt-that-makes-you-poop spokesperson, Jamie Lee Curtis, wins the Oscar yesterday and now the whole world is falling apart!

Not a joke. I make jokes but this thread is meant to be a serious discussion. To answer your question, no "we" have not learned a thing if we had this would not be happening again.

I guess I don't understand what it is that's supposed to happen and what I'm supposed to be afraid of.
That all the banks in Canada will collapse and the only thing of value will be the precious metals and food I have?
With the Silicon Valley bank that just crashed, I was reading that one of the big effects could be that a lot of companies that use that bank, aren't going to be able to meet payroll or pay vendors. And of course, those vendors won't be able to pay their employees and so on. That would totally suck for those workers and families to just not get a pay cheque deposit with no advanced planning. They specifically mentioned ZipRecruiter, Shopify, and Roku as companies that might have to furlough their workforce because of the bank failure.
As much as all that sucks, I am not sure there should be any panic overall though. It was a big bank, but certainly not the first to fail. And when their meat and potatoes are tech start-ups, we shouldn't be surprised. A lot of that industry is a bubble.
