Maybe the Wrangler Garment Company puts in a bid? Canadian Tuxedos for all teams!

Pretty sure the only players left in the game now are Nike and Reebok. And they ditched reebok for Adidas

Besides, Adidas outside of Europe and their football connections are a walking dumpsterfire of a corporation.

Feels like that didn't last long but I guess it'll be 7 years when its all said and done.

Does Under Armor still make jerseys?

That's unfortunate, I thought they had done a fantastic job with it. The new supplier better not remove that new 3D effect on the logos on the official jerseys

Curious if Nike would want to do it if they already do the Olympic jerseys.

Also they're dropping endorsement deals with Connor McDavid and others.

Sounds like they overbid on the deal to wrest it away from Reebok.

Adidas owned Reebok so they simply changed the branding from Reebok to Adidas.

I'm going out on a limb and saying Umbro or Puma will be the new jersey supplier...

The Kappa logo is a man and a woman.

Adidas owned Reebok when that change happened.

They purchased Reebok in 2005 (For $3.8B) and only just sold them in 2021 (for $2.5B) after Reebok failed to really improve as a brand.

I could see Nike getting back in the hockey mix here. Have some actual marketable names with McDavid, Mackinnon, Matthews, etc. And with the improved US TV deal on ESPN and Turner there is actually more eyes on the sport again.

Adidas has done well.

I would like to see CCM take over.

Nike would make sense, but I actually love all the suggestions that would be from left field (and probably never or definitely never happen).

Umbro? Puma? Kappa? Sure, sign me up. Would be cool to get a brand with a totally fresh take on it in (though obviously one with experience creating technical garments). Not that a hockey jersey should look like anything other than a hockey jersey, but I like when brands add small little style touches that differentiate them.

Starter did some hockey jerseys in the 90s. I own a Starter Lady Liberty jersey.

That might be cool.

Teams used to have their own suppliers. The Rangers had Gerry Cosby for many years.

If it's a right field name I think it would be Majestic.

They had MLB jersey rights - and lost those to Nike in recent years.

They could be looking at a new market. And just realized they are owned by Fanatics who have a partnership with the NHL already.
