Default Flames @ Jets. 6pm MT. TSN (Jets region only?). UPD: There is a Flames stream!

The game is listed as being on TSN 3, but it most likely is restricted to the Jets broadcast region.

It appears it will also be on NHL Network in the States.

The Flames have not said anything about streaming the game, so if TSN is blacked out for you and you are do not have access to US NHL Network, you might need to pull out the old pirate hat to get a stream or just stick with radio. A Flames employee has now confirmed the game will be streamed with regional restrictions by the Flames.

Jets announced their roster for the game last night:

Flames roster and lineup available after morning skate.

NHL Centre Ice is free right now. On my Shaw guide, the game is listed on channel 350.

May still not work. The Oilers Jets preseason game on Sept 16 was blacked out on center ice for many people in Edmonton.

Think Stockton training camp opened on the 24th last year. Does that mean we likely see some cuts soon?

Looks like its all bubble guys up front and on D tonight. Only gauranteed regulars are Ryan and Brodie (could argue Eat bread and Kylington too).

Have to think tomorrow morning theres a ton of cuts and we get a lot closer to the 23 man roster, minus Tkachuk obviously.

Last chance to impress for most of these guys.

That's a "no one wants to fly to Winnipeg" line-up if I ever saw one.

I'd love to see Talbot and Zag split the game on one hand, because I think Zag might be shockingly close to NHL backup ready.

But realistically they've committed to Talbot, so he needs more game time to get regular season ready.

Surprised Luke Philp isn't in. Peters had mentioned a few nights ago that he wanted to see Philp in a game having looked good in practice

I like Zag a lot too, but I wouldn't read too much into preseason. Talbot will get plenty of rope to hang himself before they bring Zag up.

However, he does seem like the perfect 3rd string option. His pro experience in Russia means he can handle the pressure more than someone like Parsons. Gillies just isn't trustworthy anymore to call up (unless he somehow miraculously turns things around).

I like how calm he is in net, but he's athletic enough to cover the passing plays. Maybe a little loose at times, but it's something that can be worked on in the minors. He's only 24 which is the right age for goalies to start to pop. Could be a real diamond in the rough, along with the other Russian: Yelesin.

Word is he was last seen latched onto the railing at the airport screaming “pleeaasse don’t make me go to Winnipeg!”

Weird lineup in my opinion. The few bubble players that are in will not even be auditioning in anything resembling their potential regular season spot. No potential complete lines or D pairings. Seems more like a preseason game one road split squad lineup.

Must be that extreme weather crisis in Winnipeg that is making the flames take precautionary steps with their roster.

I’m guessing we’ll see Brodie with Stone, to eventually become the 5-6 D pairing (if not already)?
