I don’t see anyone taking that contract off their hands, hell I’ll be shocked if hurts gets anything more than a few wildcat snaps to fumble all year. I don’t believe Mobile Ginger Flacco is going anywhere.

You want to talk about sending a message, Baltimore might miss the playoffs if they are forced to forfeit. I prefer that to draft picks, they'll get comp picks to make up for losing one anyway. This is happening not due to bad luck, but flagrant violations of the policy. Deserves a harsher punishment IMO.

Agreed. That's a harsh punishment, but a message needs to be sent or the NFL risks losing the season.

I personally don't want them to have to forfait, but I hope they'll have to give up a significant draft pick. A 5th or 6th won't do.
I will say this, it pisses me off to no end that some teams will also have their season impacted because some teams can't stick to the rules. It's a pandemic, things inevitably happen ... but everybody needs to do his part to minimize the risk.
