Flames Beijing, China. Flames vs Bruins. 5:30AM MT. Sportsnet

Game will be on Sportsnet Ontario, Pacific, West, East.

If you are not an early riser or it looks like Sportsnet will replay the game at noon.

Tkchauk Injury?

Tkchauk left the last Flames practice early.

From coach Bill Peters:
"Chucky went down and I don't think it's anything serious but we'll see how he reacts overnight and early in the morning … he'll have an opportunity to skate on it in the morning and see if it reacts favourably. We'll know a lot more after our skate tomorrow but the guys who didn't play in Game One will play in Game Two and Smitty (Mike Smith) will start."

Flames are expected to have their morning skate around 8:30 PM MT.

Flames Projected Lines

We should have confirmed lines after the morning skate. We do know that Klimchuk, Lazar, Peluso, Andersson, and Prout will play but not sure who comes out for them. Smith will start.

Here were the latest practice lines, but keep in mind they might change especially if Tkachuk can't play or they keep him out for precautionary reasons.

Fingers crossed that Rasmus Andersson gets to play. I’d like to see how he looks out there with the big boys.

So if no Tkachuk that could mean Bennett with Ryan and Czarnik? That could be fun to watch.

IIRC they leave after this game.

To give them ample time to recover from travel and time zones, anyone who went to China won't play until the Sept 24 preseason game against the Jets at the earliest.

On the Fan 960 this morning, Treliving was saying that they would be leaving right after the game. A two hour (Treliving laughed that it could easily be 4 hours) bus ride to the airport and then the 14 hour flight home. He mentioned they would get in at 11:00 tomorrow night. I'm having trouble figuring out that would work with the game ending around 8:00 or 8:30AM Calgary time, though.

Bill Peters mentioned that every one who didn’t play in game 1, will play in game 2. Didn’t mention specifically who would be sitting though.

I think he was going to sit to begin with but now that he's a little bruised up I'm 100% sure Tkachuk sits.

Whether it be last season or new season, this line is no good. Hathaway must have dirt on someone in the organization.

Are the three extras going to sub in then?

Really want to see Neal on line 1.

Hopefully Dube can continue to impress and make the roster.

I know he had a decent first game, but lets hope Derek Ryan isnt a fixture on the PP unit at all. As much as he is a gamer, he is not a choice I want to see on the PP. I surely hope Peters doesnt use Ryan as much as he did in Carolina, which many of their own fans complained about.

Yeah time zones still don't make that possible.

Game will be from 5:30 AM Calgary time to ~8:30 AM Calgary time - probably even later by the time the players change and board the bus.

Then it's a 2 hour ride from the rink to the airport as per what treliving said. So that means' the plane probably doesn't leave until 11:00-Noon Calgary time at the earliest.

Then 14 hours of air time means they land at 1:00 - 2:00 AM on Thursday at the earliest in Calgary.

Don't see any way possible they would get into Calgary by 11:00 PM on Wednesday.

Why not? Is it because he's not a big name? He looked more than capable to me. Very heady
