32 save shutout for Gillies.

4th pro career shutout and his sv% so far this season is .924

3-0 Heat win over the Baby Oilers.

Andrew Mangiapane now has 14pts for the AHL lead. The next player has 12 pts.

Is Hrvic playing center? Maybe he can be 4th line center next season for the Flames

Mangiapane is listed as a LW does anyone know if he can play RW as well?. Leading the team and AHL in scoring may want to give him a chance with Calgary on RW.

don't you know? you need to fill out the bottom 6 with character gritangibles leaders like glass and brouwer and give them plenty of ice time to set examples while prospects get buried in the ahl. there's certainly nothing to learn or contribute for good ahl prospects in the nhl, just ask the repeat championship penguins

Mangiapane was clearly not ready for the NHL based on his pre-season. Give him at least 20 games in the AHL before calling him up.

Agreed - he definitely needs more time (remember when Klimchuk was on fire for 10 to 20 games last year?)

Having said that, as someone who didn't think he had what it takes to make it to the NHL, I have to say I am really impressed with his play, and more than ready to admit I was wrong.

4-0 Findlay on the PP. Assists to Goloubef and Klimchuk.

Klimchuk with a 2g+1a night so far.

Then right after the goal. Rittich springs Poirier on the breakaway, but Poirier fails to score

End of the 1st.

Heat give up a 5 on 3 goal. Robak lost his stick, so effectively a 5 on 2.5.

4-1 Heat.

Also, the "David" in David Rittich is pronounced the Czech way. "Dah-vid" (rhymes with "avid.")

Findlay scores his 2nd of the night to make it 5-3.

Mangiapane with the assist and he extends his point streak to 9 games.
