Keith, how much for furnace service only? No need to have the ducts cleaned. Are you booked for all of January?

Had Keith out to do a furnace cleaning and service today. Aside from the great cleaning job he also enlightened me about a completely ineffective return air duct we have had since we built our house (8 years ago) and fixed it for me.

I can't say anything that hasn't been said here before but get Keith out to your house to do a furnace cleaning and service .

Just had Keith over to clean and service my furnace. Was pretty friggin cold out there but he was still able to get the job done for me. Pretty obvious why you just won 2013 best of Calgary.

If the common saying is that you should 'know a good lawyer, a good mechanic and good plumber' I'll add Keith My Furnace Guy to the list.

He just left our home after another great service. He continues to be a fantastic person to deal with and it is clear that he has great pride in his work.

I am a repeat customer and will unapologetically continue to promote him and his superior work.

Thanks again Keith.

To add to my glowing review:

Keith and I were chatting while he was doing his prep work. I was griping to him about my parent's home where a number of guys had come through but the last one was able to find a block of wood within the furnace system.

Now in what can only be described as:
1) Keith's best magic trick in history or
2) the handi-work of a terrible furnace company that came in before him.

We discovered this piece of cardboard lodged near by furnace's burners. (iphone photo taken through the access hole that Keith had just made)

Needless to say it was due to the neglect of the 'new home cleaner' of our 6 month old house. Air Maids Cleaning can go pound sand.

Thank you again Keith!

Thanks for the filter advice! It seems to be helping airflow in our house. I'll still be emailing you for a cleaning at some point.

We are mid basement development currently.

Couple things:

- We are due for a cleaning, should we wait until the basement is all done?
- How do I protect the furnace during the ever popular drywall sanding phase?

Using poly hung from the highest point down to the floor and trying to seal everything off .....also ensuring regardless of this as a defense mechanism that the filter be changed every day the sanding is being done in the house.

Keeping a clean filter in the furnace at all times is so important during construction .

Drywall dust is evil.

It is the single hardest thing on all the temperature sensitive components on the furnace especially a high efficiency furnace.

The scariest part is knowing you still need to have a cleaning done after construction and then finding someone who ACTUALLY knows WTF they are doing when it comes to service /cleaning and inspection.

I estimate that 90 % of the work I follow out in the industry is done incorrectly.

Always use a reputable company with a experienced technician .

Any technician with less than 15 years experience is no good.

Default Bad work I CONTINUE seeing !!!

Hello

Just wanted to touch on a subject of quality for those who may read this.

I estimate that 90 % of the work I see is highly negligent, incomplete and incompetent.

All of it is avoidable and yet everyone keep hiring these people to do work for them.

High efficiency furnaces need to pulled apart entirely to be service before any kind of furnace, vent and duct cleaning is ever done.

I do not see this happening.

Guys are getting really lazy and stupid about the way they conduct business.

I will come and look for FREE at anyone's job if there is ever any question about the quality of work performed .

Just wanted to put this out there for anyone interested.
