Going on a 5 day work trip with a coworker soon that involves 21 hours of driving.
We've got totally different music tastes. I'm a top 40's guy and he's a... well I don't really understand his taste, he's a newfie.
Just wondering what you guys might suggest for road trip music compilations, looking for something easy to find and download in a batch. So far all I've got is Guardians of the Galaxy 1 soundtrack (I haven't seen 2).
Or, most anything by Springsteen involves cars and driving.
Rush:
I strip away the old debris
That hides a shining car
A brilliant red Barchetta
From a better vanished time
I fire up the willing engine
Responding with a roar
Tires spitting gravel
I commit my weekly crime

My god, 21 hours of driving with a co-worker sounds like a goddamn torture chamber.

My philosophy when playing music in my car is that you're never going to please everyone. I tend to stick to playing songs that everyone knows, classic or new. There's going to be some they like and some they don't. You can only do your best.
Or just say screw it and okay whatever you want and tell them tough luck!
