I know a lot of ppl here were upset with Nenshi for being against the previous two deals, but i think his role in supporting Davidson in leading a new attempt at a deal with the Flames showed true leadership. Davidson himself made it a point to acknowledge Nenshi for his role in stepping out of the way
He understood that he needed to extract himself from the process and he did. And the deal got got done.
Again not a slam dunk for the City but a reasonable deal for everyone. Even Farkas said its "looks like a good deal" and that its "probably the best deal we'll get from the Flames".
