getting rid of ad pop ups on Iphone from CP site

I'm not sure what is happening but whenever I try to log on to CP from my Iphone I get ad blockers on the page that restrict me from accessing content unless I can time it before the ad appears.

I have the block pop ups on for my Safari settings but is there something else I need to do?

Switch to CP Style 2a, this will fix it

You will lose the ability to view embedded Twitter links though, so its a trade off

For the record, I switched to 2a and then swtiched back to 2 a couple days later because of the twitter links.. And the ad issue was gone.

this started on my phone about a week ago too, where an ad covers most of the page and you can't get rid of it.

Go to any sub forum on your phone and the style is at the bottom of the page.

If using chrome mobile, there's an option for "desktop site".
That fixed it for me.

Is it possible for you guys to just remove that add space until it gets sorted? Leave the other banners, but remove the one that is the issue? I'd imagine lots of users are avoiding the site right now becuase of the frustration. Probably more than the ad revenue generated.

I dont know about the rest of you but apparently I was just accepted to go on a Safari to 'Save the Whales.'

Which I not only did not apply for, dont care about and makes little to no sense, albeit if I'm on Safari I'm unlikely to be killing whales in the meantime however I rarely kill whales as a general rule.

Where was I going with this again?

Just tried this ... no luck for me, a Dyson ad immediately popped up. Back to 2a for me
