The winners of the three pools and the one team with the best record among the non-winners get a bye to the Quarterfinal.
With the OTW, the Czechs are well-positioned to win the pool (their final game is against Switzerland).
Because it was an OTL, Canada is well-positioned to be the highest-ranked non-winner (their final game is against Korea).
