Seeing Toronto suck makes me happy. Especially after having to watch 10 minutes about how this coaching change was what the doctor ordered.

Just checked the scores and was very happy to see the Oilers losing. Looks good on them.

Nylander has been great this year. No way the Leafs are getting rid of him.

The "penalty" on tkachuk was the definition of game management.

The Oiler player committed a worse foul on that play. Of course the refs didn’t see that though!!

Go for it. His contact already looks pretty good. A team would have to really overpay for the Leafs to trade him.

The Leafs had to sign him or risk losing him for pennies on the dollar. They knew going into their RFA signing frenzy that one of the players was likely to be a payroll casualty. He comes up in trade scenarios, because the other three big ticket forwards are unlikely to move.
Pittsburgh proved for years that three high paid forwards seems to be the max, otherwise you are sacrificing too much in other areas.

4-2 Sens. This makes all the gloating by Quinn after the 1st period sooo good.
