Excited for this game tonight. Kind of feels like the first game of the season. I am hoping for a big offensive explosion from our top players. Ottawa got spanked by the Wild yesterday 7-2 the Flames should be all over them.

Thought this game was tailor made for Talbot to start, but I guess when you get this far behind the 8 ball you need to try and get the confidence back up

Has it been confirmed that Rittich is starting?

  1. Eastern Canadian opponent
  2. The Habs are playing an afternoon game
  3. The other early HNIC game is Buffalo @ Toronto
  4. The late HNIC game is Vancouver @ Edmonton
  5. The Jets are also playing a late game on the road in LA

It allows Sportsnet to run a triple-header today/tonight with 2 all-Canadian match-ups on HNIC and all 7 Canadian teams are in action and available either on CBC or the main Sportsnet channel.

the Flames get the opportunity to make a statement in the 5pm primetime spot. I welcome this opportunity

Hard to believe my dad has been here for 30 years and hasn't gone to a game yet. Taking him to his first today. Right along the ice, so excited. Really hoping the Flames turn it up a notch.

When I told him how much it cost he was in shock and wanted to smack me lol. Totally worth it tho.

5-2 Flames!

Sounds exactly like my late Dad. Make sure you buy him a malt between the second and third.

There's maybe one line Flames might have to worry about and that's the Brown-Pageau-Paul line. Actually maybe not even that anymore as they seem to be coming back to earth after looking so hot for a full month.

Just play a solid game and it should be an easy win because the Sens are a bottom-5 NHL team. They suck.

There just is no such thing in the NHL. Yes its a game the Flames should win, but that doesn't make it an easy one.

Actually looking forward to watching this game and I’m hoping to see a big improvement in their play. After such an entertaining season last year I’ve been beaten into submission with their play this year. Gonna take a lot of consistently great play before I believe in this group again

If anything it's the opposite with this year's teams performance
