There's one win, aka an Oiler winning streak. Now just put a few together.

Lindholm is NOT the problem on the top line. That's #13.

Anywho Between Lindy, BSD and a few others, something to look forward to. Teams Getting scrappy for points.

Good news:

- 5 out of a possible 6 points the last 3 games
- First time in 9 games the Flames scored more than 2 goals

Bad news:

- Still playing pretty poor hockey
- 9th straight game the Flames failed to score more than 2 goals in regulation
- 9th straight game without a regulation win

But right now, points are all that matter so I'll happily take the two points!

That was the most I’ve been invested into a game since 2004. That’s why I watch hockey. Fun game.

Should be the first line with Lindholm as Center.

Will be home later tonight, guesstimating a midnight ATL.

The team, and the fans, absolutely needed that.

Man. This Flames team is:

-weak on the puck
-unbelievably poor on the PP
-playing like they're feeling sorry for themselves
-handling the puck like it's a grenade
-over-reliant on Tkachuk (who showed more initiative on his OT shift than Monahan & Gaudreau did the entire game)
-potentially wasting a first-year starter career performance from David Rittich

And yet...

I just. Can't. Quit. Them.

I said the Flames needed 4 of the 6 points available in the last three games of the road trip to consider the season salvageable.

5 points is a great success. It may not be over yet.

Good grief! How can anyone have a serious conversation with Friedman with that thing on his face?

Great game! A little shaky at times for the Flames but I'll take the post Peter's era win!

I hope they build off this!

Extremely lucky this team isn't dead last with Johnny, Moahan and Backlund playing like junk. Thanks to BSD to keeping this team in striking distance of a playoff spot. But we need the top guys to show up eventually or there's no shot at the playoffs.

Anyone catch the salty little kid at the glass while Lindy was celebrating? Hilarious.
