So this was sent to Eric Francis? After Peters sent it to Treliving? Weird.

"In a professional setting" is an interesting choice of words. Tell us why screaming the N-word at work makes it better.

Apologies can never be constructed right, and there are always things to pick on, but the way it was written seemed to be written by the guy himself, but the lawyers made sure to put their points in to save his skin in the future. Forget the guy. He's done with the organization. He's made his millions while being an ass.

It disturbs me that we live in an age where people honestly think the media is part of some deep state conspiracy to inflict gay values on good Christian white folks or some other weird right wing/Russian sales pitch.
What are you talking about? The Flames could have spoken privately to every other Chicago Wolves player on the team at the time and many of them could have said that yes Peters came in and addressed them all and apologized. You don’t know. The media doesn’t necessarily know. Dion to claim that because it’s not on twitter or in the media means it didn’t happen is ridiculous.

Please read posts thoroughly.

Tfr must know Peters personally, nothing else explains the unabashed defense of the indefensible.

Very calculated for minimum damage and minimum responsibility and blame. I don't like it at all and I hope the Flames won't either.

See, the initial claim and many of the subsequent claims come directly from the people in the room when it happened. On Twitter. There is no media bias or filter.

That you spin this as media bias blows me away. You seriously need to start thinking for yourself. Blindly repeating the talking points you see on tv or Facebook is a terrible look...
If a tree falls in the forest but it’s not shown on Twitter did it really fall?!

Don’t watch TV or use Facebook thanks.

That’s mighty big of him to apologize to his boss before the guy he called the N word

Did Prince Andrew help him write it?

I don’t want him as our coach.

Setting that aside, is there no road to redemption for anyone anymore? A letter is not enough, but if he committed himself to some legit wokeness training and changing his approach forever for the better would he still be cast away?

Yeah, there's something about it that doesn't ring true, in addition to the fact that he sent to Francis

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
