Buzzer sounds “and the season series is even”.
Yeah, that’s the take when your team got hammered.

James Neal has 14 goals but is still a -12. I don’t care how many goals he’s scored, he’s still awful.

Well, without him it’s 8-1.

He scored a bunch of PP goals in October and has been bad/terrible 5-on-5 every time I've seen him. I still can't believe Tippett has used him in OT before, that's incredible.

Yeah, Koskinen was actually quite good tonight. Easily their best player. 2nd star is more than fair.

IIRC it didn’t go well when he used him in OT.

I think it went very well. He was on the ice in an OT loss.

Oilers propaganda machine at work. God forbid they don't give an Oiler a star.
The actual 3 stars were MacKinnon, O'Connor, and Kadri.

Oilers gave up another 50 shots tonight. That's pretty rad.
Just need them to lose like 4/5 to start to sow the seed of doubt into that AHL roster. And then the wheels will truly come off.

Flames win,
Sharks get blown out, Oilers only put up 40% of the amount of shots Colorado did, lose, and then Canucks blow a 3 goal lead to let in 5 unanswered goals.
Great night.

What a hit on Chiasson. Couldn't believe he skated off.

On US Thanksgiving, the Flames are in a three-way points tie with Vancouver and Vegas.
Because of games played, the Flames are ranked third of the three teams, but they're all effectively in the final playoff spot on Thanksgiving. Whatever your thoughts are on the whole idea that the playoffs are set on Thanksgiving (which St Louis more than proved wrong last year), the Flames aren't dead yet.

It helps that we've been getting elite level goaltending from Rittich. If Gaudreau and Monahan can somehow snap out of their current funk, I think we'll be in good shape.

The Islanders have lost two in a row now, they lost to the Kings 4-1. Is there a goalie flu going around the NHL? Bernier comes into the game ill and actually plays well and Markstrom was ill and could not play so Demko was in for 7 goals. Those Coyotes win in the SO over the Ducks.
