Wow, that's surprising! Leafs gonna be line the Oilers and Flames for coaches - the 3 team revolving door coaching!

The Leafs player who I'm most interested to watch under Keefe is Jason Spezza. He's looked good in his minutes but Babcock frequently made him a healthy scratch or gave him under 11 minutes a night.

The only real "turns #### into gold" coach is Trotz.

Babcock has always been a little overrated in my eyes but I think this move is a little reactive.

If Treliving fires Peters, I would be pretty pissed. The players need to man up for once. They have churned through enough coaches to make it clear that whatever coaching change would be made, it is only a temporary solution.

He does not need any money, the Leafs owe him 20 million and I believe he would continue to get paid. The Leafs are badly constructed, they picked up Muzzin and Barrie, two guys who were the weak points on their respective pairings.

Yeah I don’t think the Leafs have a roster issue. Firing Babcock was the right move for them. Dubas has built a solid roster.

Defenceman are easy to acquire. They’d be better off if Kadri had approved the move to Calgary though. Babcock has also misused Barrie from day 1. I don’t think they’re badly constructed at all. They’ve got a pretty complete roster.

I think when a team bails on a D man to replace him with essentially 2 rookies you need to take a step back and wonder why that is.

They won't have the cap to ice them.

They are light on the back end but have a plethora of forwards signed, they can easily remedy the situation with a couple trades. D is their only roster hole.

One of the big forwards won’t be there next season. (Nylander).

Lol

Dumbass spends 33 million on 3 guys, has a ton of low cost filler, and turfs the coach when it doesn’t work

Smartest guy in the room

What a beautiful mess the Leafs are

To be fair, Makar is pretty exceptional as far as rookie defencemen go.

Stay far, far away from Babcock.

I have no idea where this guy gets his Legendary status from.

No surprise if you've ever heard Commodore speak about him. He doesn't imply, he gets straight to the point and calls him an all round, arrogant, sob in every way.
